Valhalla Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility in Louisville, KY, just off Route 60 and I-265. Many people in the community still know us as Old Oaklawn. Whichever name you know us by, our nurses are here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Choosing a place for care can feel overwhelming. We have large private and semi-private rooms, and our medical director and nurse practitioner make rounds multiple days a week. We’ll help you feel at home from day one.

Seeing as how this is a nursing home I’m only going to tell you about the parking. Beware of the traffic circle. Also there are spees bumps. . if it’s cold outside and there’s snow or ice on the ground make sure to park in front of the building do not go down the hill. The landscaping is immaculate. The Halloween decorations are amazing. The groundskeeper does an expert job.
I have got to tell you The PT department is amazing… It’s probably the best PT department I have ever been to….. All the people on the rehab floor including nurses and CNA’S are wonderful…. also, the activity department is wonderful…and Lauren in the social services department is awesome …
Stayed here for rehab for two weeks. The medical team was great. Also, rehab team was great. Thanks to MONAKA And the first floor nurses for making it a good experience.
