A stay in skilled nursing is about more than care and therapy. It’s also about the rest of the day. At Valhalla Post Acute, that might mean a club meeting or an outing with the group on a community field trip.
It might also mean a fresh haircut at our beauty parlor, or a sit-down meal in our restaurant-style dining room. You can be as active and social as you want to be.
Community Field Trips
We plan community field trips for residents, so you can get out and enjoy some time in the community. Our Activities Director can tell you what’s coming up.
Clubs
Clubs are one of the ways residents here spend time together. Along with the clubs, there are daily activities for a wide variety of interests, like games, musical performances, and movies.
Beauty Parlor
Our beauty parlor is right here in the building. Getting your hair done is a small thing, but it can make a hard week feel a bit more normal.
Dining
We have restaurant-style dining, with diets designed by our full-time, in-house registered dietitian. Meals are planned around your dietary and therapeutic needs, and your nutrition is checked regularly.
