I have got to tell you The PT department is amazing… It’s probably the best PT department I have ever been to….. All the people on the rehab floor including nurses and CNA’S are wonderful…. also, the activity department is wonderful…and Lauren in the social services department is awesome …

My 83-year-old uncle was admitted to this facility several weeks ago, and unfortunately, our family has been extremely disappointed with the care and communication we have experienced since his admission. One of the most distressing issues occurred when his wife received a call from administration informing her that she needed to pick him up the very next day because his insurance would no longer cover his stay. Being given such short notice, without an adequate plan for his continued care, was incredibly stressful for our family. My uncle has significant mobility limitations, can barely walk, and requires assistance with nearly everything. His family should have been given adequate notice and support to develop a safe discharge plan. We are also extremely concerned that my uncle developed a Stage 3 foot ulcer during his stay, despite this condition not being present prior to his admission. Given his limited mobility and dependence on others for his care, we expected appropriate preventive measures, including regular skin assessments, repositioning/offloading as appropriate, fall precautions, and close monitoring for changes in his condition. As a family member and healthcare professional, I find this situation deeply concerning. We trusted this facility to provide appropriate care for a vulnerable 83-year-old patient, and our experience has left us questioning whether his needs were adequately assessed, monitored and addressed. Based on our family’s experience, I cannot recommend this facility to others who are seeking care for a vulnerable elderly loved one. Families deserve clear communication, appropriate discharge planning, and confidence that their loved ones are receiving safe and attentive care.

Stayed here for rehab for two weeks. The medical team was great. Also, rehab team was great. Thanks to MONAKA And the first floor nurses for making it a good experience.

The nursing team are very friendly and punctual with patient care with true compassion. The therapy team is very knowledgeable and dedicated to optimal recovery. I recommend Valhalla Post Acute to everyone in need.

Valhalla has Wonderful patient care, therapy services, food services, and housekeeping. The staff ensure everything is clean and presentable. The building is still beautiful after all these years.

I been in this facility for rehab for a short time but I commend everyone in the facility as the are so caring and helpful. They treat you as not just a patient but also a person. Place is beautiful but the staff make it much better. God bless everyone

Here at valhalla i like the atmosphere. I like the courtyard and the pond in the back. I have made some friends and I love the activities those are the best. I get up early and go to all of them.

Therapy is excellent they go beyond the call! They help me go above and beyond. They really shoot to surpass all of your goals.

I’ve been in or around nursing facilities for 40 years and until Valhalla Post Acute I didn’t know how great a place could be from the care, atmosphere, and compassionate staff. It has been the best experience I’ve had! I Love it here!!!

Overall experience is amazing! The best therapy I have ever had. They come to my room when I need them to to finish therapy if I am having issues getting there. The food is great as well with what I need for my health.

I worked at Valhalla for years, and I can say that the way employees and residents are treated is disgusting. I would not recommend that anyone work here.

Excellent care staff!. Their care management teams really help their patients get better and work with families to find the best options for care.

This place is horrible. My Dad is staying there currently, and every time I go to visit him, his call button is out of reach, he hasn’t had even a sip of water for hours, and his oxygen is not on his face. I reported this to the nurses’ station several times, and they just continue to play on their phones instead of respond to a call light. But, I’m sure they bring in plenty of money.

Choosing this facility was one of the best decisions our family made. The nursing team provided exceptional care and always kept us informed. Therapy sessions were personalized, encouraging, and effective. It felt like everyone truly wanted the best outcome for our loved one. Highly recommend Valhalla!

From the moment we arrived, we felt supported and welcomed. The nurses were professional, patient, and always quick to respond when help was needed. Therapy services were outstanding and made such a difference in recovery. We were so happy to see that they have a cooking club. The treats were wonderful. You can tell this facility truly cares about their residents and families.

I beg you please do not take your loved ones here.. they do care plans with you and nothing comes of them, they use agency nurses who could care less if they take care of your family member, my mom was in the hospital with sepsis every month the last months she was there the nurses said her vitals were fine so she didn’t need to go to hospital we get her there she is having a stroke, the receptionist is horrible at her job can’t connect you with anyone, they would put 2 briefs on my mom so they wouldn’t have to change her as often, also would put the chucks in her briefs for the same reason, if I could give a -0 star I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I plead with you to never take your loved one here for rehab! One huge concern with this place is there is no case manager. There is absolutely no communication with family!The nurses were so rude. I could not ask any questions about my mother without them giving me a snarky response back. As a result, they didn’t give her correct dosage of torsemide (water pill for her congestive heart failure) and she swelled up and gained 15 lbs in 4 days!!! I did all of her laundry while she was there but they took it one day without me knowing. We asked for it back several times as her discharge date was approaching and we never got it back! She was then sent to assisted living and Valhalla sent them the list of meds they had been giving her for 2 weeks and it turns out they also had not been giving her blood pressure medication!! Not impressed with therapists either. One PT told me she walked steps just fine with 2lb weights on each ankle. My poor mother can barely lift her leg 3 inches off the floor. She obviously had the wrong patient. They about put my mother in her grave and for that matter me too!!!

Everything and everyone there was Great! Smiling and caring staff. The manager Heather is amazing.
