Choosing this facility was one of the best decisions our family made. The nursing team provided exceptional care and always kept us informed. Therapy sessions were personalized, encouraging, and effective. It felt like everyone truly wanted the best outcome for our loved one. Highly recommend Valhalla!

From the moment we arrived, we felt supported and welcomed. The nurses were professional, patient, and always quick to respond when help was needed. Therapy services were outstanding and made such a difference in recovery. We were so happy to see that they have a cooking club. The treats were wonderful. You can tell this facility truly cares about their residents and families.

I beg you please do not take your loved ones here.. they do care plans with you and nothing comes of them, they use agency nurses who could care less if they take care of your family member, my mom was in the hospital with sepsis every month the last months she was there the nurses said her vitals were fine so she didn’t need to go to hospital we get her there she is having a stroke, the receptionist is horrible at her job can’t connect you with anyone, they would put 2 briefs on my mom so they wouldn’t have to change her as often, also would put the chucks in her briefs for the same reason, if I could give a -0 star I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I plead with you to never take your loved one here for rehab! One huge concern with this place is there is no case manager. There is absolutely no communication with family! The nurses were so rude. I could not ask any questions about my mother without them giving me a snarky response back. As a result, they didn’t give her correct dosage of torsemide (water pill for her congestive heart failure) and she swelled up and gained 15 lbs in 4 days!!! I did all of her laundry while she was there but they took it one day without me knowing. We asked for it back several times as her discharge date was approaching and we never got it back! She was then sent to assisted living and Valhalla sent them the list of meds they had been giving her for 2 weeks and it turns out they also had not been giving her blood pressure medication!! Not impressed with therapists either. One PT told me she walked steps just fine with 2lb weights on each ankle. My poor mother can barely lift her leg 3 inches off the floor. She obviously had the wrong patient. They about put my mother in her grave and for that matter me too!!!

A somewhat bizarre experience for a family member who had a multi-week stay here for rehab. At first glance, the facility itself looks nice, but don’t look too closely. Our window blinds would not work so no natural light. One ceiling light flickered constantly and we were told nothing could be done about it. Gashes and dents in the walls. Just needs some TLC. Professional staff (PT, OT) were fantastic to work with but nursing staff was a bit preoccupied. Doctor ordered new topical lotion to be delivered, but weeks went by and it never showed up. Nurses told us “Yeah, the pharmacy’s slow here.” The very bland food sat outside the room long enough to get cold. No warming trays. Nurses also apologized for this and said that nothing seems to be able to be done about the poor quality food service. Just an odd experience.

During this storm we experienced, Valhalla paid to keep staff through till Monday 1-26-25. They took excellent care of my daughter. The floor nurse even texted me about my daughter since we weren’t able to drive in on Sunday.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Love the beautiful facility. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Rehab has gone great. I feel like my mom is in great hands. She seems happy and well taken care of every time I visit.
I am/was a resident of this facility Pieced together is various pieces of old furniture. The only meal halfway edible is breakfast if the use the menu filled out. Once in the room a nurse came in for an eval… and after that someone came in with a cup of meds most of the time had to ask who they were. You could really tell some of them did not really like their job.
I am/was a resident of this facility Rooms are good sized rooms, but only cleaned 2 -3 times a week. The food was fairly good back in January 2025 but have gotten consistently worse. Response time to call lights are 30 minutes or more during day, much longer at night.
We couldn’t be happier with the care our father receives from the valhalla team. The nurses treat him with such respect and kindness, and we can tell they really love what they do. The food service is excellent, he looks forward to mealtime every day in the beautiful dining room. The therapy staff has also been great in improving his mobility. We couldn’t be happier with his progress. The positive energy in this place is contagious. We are so thankful.

Sister was sent here from the hospital. They failed to give her pain meds for over 30 hours and kept saying they were waiting for the pharmacy. Dr ordered wound vac was left off for 4 days. Took 3 nurses two hours to finally put one on and then they left it turned off for a day and a half after it was finally put on because they forgot to turn it on. Room still had the same garbage in the can a week later. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned once in 8 days. I was thinking this would be a good place but it was not. PT was good and a couple of the nurses were good but I would not recommend going here.

My mom has been here for a while now and we’ve been happy with how she’s treated. The aides know her by name and they make her laugh, which means a lot. No place is perfect, but they’ve always answered my questions and kept me updated on her health. It gives me peace of mind knowing she’s cared for.

If I could’ve put a 0 I would’ve. The place looked nice on the outside but don’t let it fool you! Every time we called to check on her,we got put on hold and told we’d get a call back but never did. Mind you we lived 3 hours away. My Mom was released from Norton hospital to this place and was there around 3 weeks and got sent out in an ambulance. The day shift nurse made no notes on her that day and her dinner plate was untouched so it’s untelling how long she went before being checked on by the night shift nurse. She had dementia and was bedfast and was in decent health otherwise when a traveling night nurse noticed she wasn’t herself. She checked her vitals and her blood pressure was low and her breathing was labored. She was not responding. When they got her to the ER they had to put her on a ventilator and meds were being administered through an IV. We were told she had aspirated and had pneumonia and she had a severe UTI and her organs were shutting down due to septic shock! My poor Mother didn’t come off the ventilator and her health deteriorated. She passed away 2 weeks ago. Our lives will never be the same. I’m so sorry, Mom. I miss you so much😢
